Hopland Wine Tasting Tour From Geyserville

For a nice one day or half day trip, take Highway 101 north to Hopland.  Hopland is only 24 miles from Geyserville and you can get there in about 30 minutes if you drive straight through, but there are several interesting stops along the way.  If you want a slightly more leisurely and scenic trip, there are frontage roads on both sides of Highway 101.  (The distances listed are from Geyserville Avenue and Highway 128 in downtown Geyserville).

On the east side frontage road

• Pastori Winery (2.2 miles), open by appointment only
• Washington School Road (5 miles)
• Asti and the site of the now closed Paulsen tasting room (5.3 miles on the left)
• Beringer Wine Estates, which is closed to the public and was originally Italian Swiss Colony (5.5 miles)
• Cloverdale (7 miles)

On the west side frontage road

• Peak Wines International ( 1.3 miles)
• An old gray barn on the west side of the road advertising "Dr. Pierce’s Golden Medical Discovery" on the north side of the barn (2.9 miles)
• Vina Vista Winery and Chauffe-Eau Cellars (3 miles)
• Silver Oak Cellars (3.9 miles) - this frontage road ends just beyond Silver Oak Winery, so go south 0.2 miles to Zanzi Lane and turn left, then left again to continue into Cloverdale on the east side frontage road

• Brutocao Vineyards and Cellars - the 7.5 acres alongside highway 101 is being turned into Italian courtyards, bocce ball courts and a concert area
• Fetzer Vineyards
• Zellerbach Estates, Robert Alison and Estate Baccala tasting room
• Jepson Winery (just north of town)
